I love the different characters, but particularly Sybil in the story of her life. The bitter, sweet story of her life. 

A emotional, forthright expression of the reality and perception of a family tragedy. The author’s use of a unique format successfully tells a story that engages the reader and reveals Sibel.

I enjoyed all the topics and different personalities. The performances were very good, story line excellent

it was so delicate, vulnerable and honest.lovely, transparent story telling through letters.I didn’t think I would like this but it flowed so smoothly it didn’t feel like individual letters.the narrating was perfect, especially Sybil’s narrator and that of Theodore.I am sending it to my girlfriends with high recommendations.thank you!

This book was refreshing. The style of telling stories through letters (correspondence) was very clever. It added a chronology to the book. The different voices for each character was excellent. The ending of this story yo me out so surprised she found her mom, who would have excepted this!!!

I loved following the story and characters through her letters. The emotion is shown not only in narrative but in words.

What a gem of a book. Not always does the narrating do it justice. This certainly did. Loved this book!

Excellent- loved seeing Sybil’s transformation late in life as she extended the circle of her acquaintances
