Loved the format and the reading of the story through different voices, could not stop listening. So deeply sad but felt like I intimately knew and understood the protagonist .

I listen to this over just a couple days as it is a quick listen, but it’s pretty fast pace and well paced.

I had a hard time settling in. But once I learned HOW to read it was amazing. So important to pay attention to details.

Loved everything about this book. What a beautiful gift to all that read it. Will think about it often.

What did I like? Everything – absolutely everything. I didn’t want it to end. I need a Sybil in my life.

The descriptive language and unique manner in which the story unfolds. The addresses. were a bit repetitive and annoying.

As a writer of letters and in my 80’s the letter format was brilliant, personal and familiar. Her path was like so many who have crossed my path, each with a rich story. Thank you for this gift.

This book will not be for everyone. The repetitious addresses are annoying until you get into the rhythm of it. Then it sort of helps with the who and when since this story takes place over many years and involves family members as well as friends. I sent this book to my 55 year old..
