Narration was so good. The story is memorable and so relatable. Never wanted it to end.

I liked the story, the beginning was difficult for me to get into, but once I continued I couldn’t stop and loved it!

Touching story of being human with so many emotions unseen and unknown to us and yet so present in our daily lives.

Frankly, it was difficult to get past the idea of some old bat being so stuck in the past, she’s still writing letters, not to mention to her NEIGHBOR. Just bizarre behavior. Also difficult was trudging through my disdain for the main character in all of her pretentious, self-important, selfish glory. Hated her. It’s possible..

Absolutely loved this book! It’s probably the fastest I ever got through listening to a book. The letter writing, the characters, the story – all well done.

Great characters, enjoyed the format. Narrators were suited to characters. Sweet story that I would recommend.

I didn’t think I could get moved by a book of letters but it turns out… I CAN!! Such a great book. The actors voices made the book come alive. You could feel their emotions.

An interesting and very effective way to tell the story.. the correspondent is very human as seen through her letters.

I Loved it all. Highly recommend this book. Listed in 3 days – couldn’t quit it!

Ugh, I’m not sure what the fuss is about. While the concept of telling a story through correspondence is an interesting one, I found the main character Sybil incredibly narcissistic and not at all self aware. I literally couldn’t wait for the book to be over so I didn’t have to hear her letters anymore…
