I slowly grew to know and love Sybil she revealed herself slowly, and then fully. I lived that she found peaceful happiness.

A story full of honest vulnerability, and the quest for atonement. Painful and simultaneously humorous, the novel makes you mourn for the losses of the protagonist and yet hopeful that she will find the peace she does not know she desperately longs for.

I did not think that I would enjoy a book written in letters, and that couldn’t have been further from the truth. Truly wonderfully done.
Such a wonderful read. I loved experiencing the story through letters written over several years as it slowly unfolded. It beautifully reminds us of the lost art of penmanship that has faded from modern life.

As I began listening I did not care for the book. As I kept listening I gained a fondness for the script. Societally we have gotten away from correspondence. This brings it back with a sincerity we all need.
This book was beautifully told through letters mostly and emails between the characters of the story. It was amazing to me how various storylines could be conveyed this way. I found myself drawn in to the characters as I waited for them to respond. It was also a beautiful story about motherhood, marriage, and mistakes…
