What a beautiful depiction of the human experience. While the book starts off somewhat slow and difficult to piece the characters together, it comes together in the most beautiful way, and I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

I am writing this through tears. How much this has moved me, I cannot express. The beauty of the writing is only amplified by the excellence of the narrators. I am reminded of the quote by Helen Keller — Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
A gorgeous story, revealed letter by letter, about regret, our influence on others big and small, small joys, failure, love, loss and being human. Best book I’ve listened to in a while.
