Loved the organic exchanges among the characters. Though that format, all personalities came to life. Loved all the narration, especially Sybil.

Loved the organic exchanges among the characters. Though that format, all personalities came to life. Loved all the narration, especially Sybil.
Intriguing way to tell a story of intertwining lives. Enjoyed this so much and will remember these characters. Heartfelt.
The correspondent’s life is slowly revealed to the reader by her letters written to people and their responses. It is a good story, but I felt let down/unfinished by the end.
I enjoyed the thoughtfulness of this book and truly loved the narration. The many relationships throughout the story were lovely.
I think this book is tremendous. I cried and couldn’t get enough of the stories. Makes you think about all the decisions we make in life, big and small. And how even the small ones, have the biggest lifelong-lasting impact. Life is so fragile, so sweet and so unforgiving at times. Loved it all. Thank..
I got my Hawkins mixed up. I thought I was reading Paula Hawkins who wrote “The Girl On the Train” which was good. This book is by Rachel Hawkins and it was a drag! Don’t waste your time with Rachel Hawkins.
I am not one to write reviews but feel compelled to do so with this novel. When the buzz first started about this book, I listened to the sample clip and decided it wasn’t for me. Seemed boring and wasn’t sure I’d like the letter format. My book club chose it for this month’s book..
This book brought me to tears. It was so beautifully written. It is a master class in human emotion.
