This book touched my heart. After losing my husband, so many of my feelings were reflected in Virginia’s writing. This book will stay with me for a long time.

This collection of letters is astonishingly beautiful. Tears were plentiful, not from sorrow, but the great moving storytelling. The story is so relatable! pain, sorrow, anger, joy, repentance and forgiveness…. We can all relate.

I don’t even know how to begin to describe this audiobook. The writing, the cast, the emotions. All the things were as good as it gets! This is a story told fully through letters to and from the main character, Sybil Van Antwerp and a cast of characters that have played roles in her life..
What a wonderful way to tell a story of one’s life; through letters. Beautifully written and performed! This book may in fact, bring letter-writing back!!
The way she lived her life made me think about how I lived mine, and how I treat people I love vs am acquainted with. Loved it.
This life reflection ‘told’ through correspondence was engaging and thought provoking. The beauty of the written word, funny, raw and unique.
