I really liked how she managed to work through her life’s trials and accomplishments through writing. What a wonderful well written heartfelt story.

The book kept my attention with the different format to tell the stories. By the end I really loved the main character

Loved how dedicated to her writing she was and how much it meant to her and how all those around her committed to this for her as well.

Started slowly and I became attached to the characters so moving and bittersweet A life story all could relate to at some point!

I wasn’t sure at first because everything is written in a letter or an email. The connections made by writing were beautiful. This story makes me want to sit down and write a letter.

The format of letters and emails isn’t ideally suited to an audiobook, but if you’re like me, it’s the only way I keep up with all the reading I want to do as well as the reading I need to do by deadlines like book club! I liked the book more as it gained momentum…

This book deeply touched me. The story was layered with meaning, and I was moved to tears multiple times throughout the novel.

A quiet experience & heavy topic made more enjoyable (in my opinion) by the audio performance. The voice actors were terrifically appropriate. The story was well written but sad.

As a novel based in letters, the different narrators make the story clear and give it an amazing momentum as it takes you through the rollercoaster of a fascinating female character’s life.
