Slow & Unnecessary Political Inserts

I don’t understand why authors need to insert their political opinions into a fictional story meant for entertainment. It didn’t help to build the character or storyline and was completely unnecessary. The only thing it accomplished was loosing a reader and any future revenue because I will not buy any more of her books.

The narrators were all phenomenal. Having multiple narratives with this story really added a deeper element for me. I could almost visualize Sybil in my mind by listening to the narrator’s voice. It’s a beautiful story or prose, grief, atonement and forgiveness. I loved it.
