This book really touched me in so many different ways. I loved how Sybil Van Antwerp (great name btw) made connections & kept up with them. It’s so hard to connect with people today & even harder keeping the connection over time. This book has inspired me to be better at keeping my connections alive.

The whole series was so fun& light hearted. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and solving the mysteries.
This is a beautiful story of a life lived with love and regret. Sybil is an older woman coming to terms with her life through writing letters. What a creative way to write a novel!

This book is a must listen. It is perfectly narrated and told through the lost art of “snail mail” and makes Sybil and her life feel that much more real and something to long for. Each correspondence draws you further into the magic that is of a Ms. VanAntwerp from Maryland.

Excellent writing, characterization that makes you miss those who people this book when you are done, and stellar narration that adds to the story. The revelations come slowly—are built rather than thrown at the listener/reader—and the ending doesn’t disappoint, except in that it ends a wonderful story.
