I almost stopped listening because I didn’t want to listen to “letters”… I’m so glad my sister encouraged me to continue. It may be my favorite book to date and will never be forgotten. It made me want to restore the lost communication of letter correspondence…

This was my first book ive read/listened to. I was hooked on it from the begining. thought this was a very good book with some twists. Only part i didnt like was when it skipped a year. I wanted to get more after that part

I loved the letter writing format in which she told this story as well as the story itself and the great depth she developed in all of her characters. Humility is powerful.

Unbelievable. Was so drawn in by all of the characters, the writing was impeccable. The way the stories were woven by the timeline of the letters was so cleverly constructed.

Really engaging and well put together, enjoyed the ending that made it even better by bringing the story to a nicely written closing.

I quickly learned to identify the sequence by the date of the letter and would periodically go back to reread the letter writer. This is an interesting way to tell the story from multiple points of view.

I loved the audio version of this book. Very well read with great feeling and emotion. It’s a very unique way of telling a story through only letters. The characters are described so you can almost see them. Throughly enjoyed this story and will recommend it to my book club.

The gut wrenching honesty of the correspondent speaks to all of us about life. I think this is a book that men as well as women would enjoy.
