Beautiful story. I loved this book. The format took a little getting used to but by the 3rd of 4th chapter I was hooked.
Just as every baked good has a pinch of salt in it to intensify the sweetness with its contrast, the Correspondent contains, in what is a tragic, poignant tale, the most delicious, subtle humor throughout. In the telling, the author provokes all emotions and brings across the essence of what it is to be human,..
I enjoyed geeting to know the characters and admiring the mistery and nuances of human mind. Life is complex and precious!
Listened to it while I was deep cleaning today… it was an easy listen that it took me only a few hours to finish it. Didn’t love the story. It felt flat and predictable. However the narration was enjoyable.
I loved this book. The story and how it written was so original. I recommend this book to everyone. You will not be disappointed.
Engaging and read beautifully which captivates the listener. The story is written with a series of letter at different stages of life and it captivates you from the first line.
This book was wonderful. A realistic depiction of life and its many joys and tragedies through the eyes of a woman that we all can see a bit of ourselves in. A true testament to the human experience and how forgiveness can set us free.
