Her tastes in life’s moments which seemed inorganic in nature, not realistic in nature. She never had to worry about the basics of life, like mortgage payments, food, clothes, etc.
I loved the story and the narration was incredible. A beautiful story of friendship, family, and forgiveness.
This audiobook, voiced beautifully by a large cast is very good. Its story is told through the letters of an older woman through her later years and the correspondence and correspondents that mattered to her. It is moving, and honest in the depiction of human connections and disconnection. As the book progresses we come to..
I loved Sybil and her grief was depicted as a slow burn. Her complicated life gave graciousness to her quirks.
The various narrators were magnificent, especially the woman voicing Sybil. The affect of Sybil’s life story as told through correspondence is mesmerizing.
When I started out listening I thought it was going to be very difficult to listen to and stay with the storyline. But wow it gripped me till the end! Magnificent!
This book caught me by surprise. It gave me all the range of emotions and I found myself loving every character. It was such a relatable story.
Beautiful story told in an entertaining way. I just loved it. Would highly recommend. Great narration.
Thought it would me more powerful, to many different people all at once involved, too many letters with different story lines that never seem to fully develop
