What a lovely, bittersweet journey through a life lived (well and not so well). Humanity. Flaws and all. Beautifully told.
I loved the unique format in the telling of a touching story. Excellent narration, a book I feel is better as audio than reading due to how well it is performed.
The different voices were perfect. It’s only February but it will most likely be my book of the year.
It was not a format that I liked. I realize others just loved it. It did not appeal to me and I did not finish.
Characters were unique, interesting and engaging. The changes in correspondence over time were noteworthy and well placed not labored.
Loved the tender vulnerability expressed throughout this novel. Evan’s ability to pull a variety of emotional experiences together to create such sweet connections was simply beautiful. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful story and so heartwarming. This is a musty for anybody that enjoys still writing good old letters.
I loved getting to know here layers. I enjoyed all the different voice actors for each of the characters. We are all human 🙂
Listening to The Correspondent felt like entering a living conversation, a tapestry of voices carrying the novel’s emotional intelligence and quiet beauty. I loved the book itself, but hearing it performed by different readers added an entirely new dimension. Each voice felt authentic and credible, deepening the sense of intimacy and empathy that runs through..
