I love epistolary novels. For me, I wasn’t sure at the beginning- I would like it, and as it turned out- I loved it. Also importantly, the narration is near perfect.

I loved the relationships that were so beautifully built build over the course of the book.

I find this book to be boring and pointless. The mood of the main narrator sounds gloomy and self absorbed so it’s dreary. It just rambles on and on and on. Nothing happens in a book with no plot. it’s difficult to remember which person or letter is speaking because they sound the same and..

I found the reading of The Correspondant to be soothing, like coffee with a good friend.it was a lovely self appraisal.

Very unpleasant, unsympathetic main character. After 2 hours, I saw no plot or point to the story. Will return for credit.

Often only hearing part of the story you felt the story unfold like pages in letters from bygone days. Truly a lovely, heartfelt read.

This may be of my best reads ever. It is highly recommended , very emotional and raw.
