An excellent overview of the life of the main character, Sybil. Brilliantly crafted storytelling. Highly suggest.

Characters were amazing. Naration was fabulous. Loved the way she organized the letters. I will read this again!

It was interesting how the story unfolds via various letters to many people. At times it seemed disjointed and maybe that was on purpose to show that people’s secret live stories don’t spill out all at once but more in a layering sort of way. I would’ve appreciated some post scripts to say what happened..

At first I did not think I was going to like this story. By the end I was completely invested and captivated in the characters. I do not believe the author could have done a better job helping the reader appreciate the depth of the characters.

The main character is too dramatic in her manner of writing for my taste. The pace of the story is very, very slow.

This book was lovely, sometimes you wonder where it’s going, but more than anything you will enjoy her writing and the way you might relate here and there.

Very interesting way to tell a life’s story. Thoroughly enjoyed and honed wasn’t expecting to be so captivated.

This story was one of the best I’ve ever experienced through Audible. I say experience rather than read because it truly felt like we were living in Sybil’s world and getting to know all the characters in her life. The narrators are absolutely brilliant!! An incredibly well written story that left me wanting to know..

I guess I would say the cover of the book caught my attention.I had no idea how much I would love where it would take me. I love the initial reason Sybil gave for writing. My applause to every character!
