This may very well be the most meaningful and emotionally rewarding book I have read in the last several years. The story, the narrations —everything – was perfect! The life lessons I learned from this book will remain with me for a very long time.

I liked the way the characters weredeveloped. It made for a mostInteresting story. The charactersHad their flaws and also theirstrengths. The emotions werewell written and made for a goodRead. (Listen) They were all complexcharacters. .

This book was written eloquently and will stay with me for a long time. Thank you for the depth of the characters and the style in form of the written letters.

I would not recommend listening to it (vs reading from a book). The reading of every single address, including the zip codes, was painful. The story was good and the author was great at developing the main character. I’d recommend, but in book form.

Fabulous narration, I was skeptical of an ensemble cast but the readers really help bring the story to life in a beautiful way. The story is original, yet probably like so many American experiences in some ways. I felt happiness, sadness, acceptance, regrets, uncertainty and so many things that remained me that we are all..

Loved this book! The story was compelling. The characters were complex. The format was unique. I’d highly recommend it. The bookstore was out of the book, so I listened to the audiobook and I wasn’t disappointed.

The entire book was excellent. Loved the characters. The letters and the main characters. Great book!

While the main character, an aging divorcee’, comes off a bit crotchety, she reveals sweet glimpses of a tender, wounded, and loving heart. I enjoyed the depth of Miss Van Antwerp’s character very much.
