Very personal recall of various characters related to central retired lawyer gives a full account of her life and times.

It drug on with laborious detail for the most part about nothing! About as exciting as my telling you about my time washing dishes!The story was mostly depressing!As one person said in the book…. We are writing letters about our lives that no one will be interesting in reading.

Liked the Southern gothic atmosphere of this book and the storyline. Maybe a little predictable, but original enough to keep me interested.
