I enjoyed the character voices and could actually picture them visually. I think listening to this book is absolutely the way to go.
Relatable and inspiring

I enjoyed the character voices and could actually picture them visually. I think listening to this book is absolutely the way to go.
Beautiful writing, great performances! Subtle, layered, and compelling characters that you truly know and care about.
Loved the whole story – well written and executed by the individuals portraying the various characters.
I hesitated downloading this book at first because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the letter writing format. But it was so well done, the writing is very strong, and the narration is one of the best performances that I’ve ever listened to in more than 20 years of listening to audiobooks…
The story, the format, the readers, the emotional impact, the imagination, were all superb. I reeeeally didn’t want this book to end.
The depth of the story, character development, and performance are all outstanding. For those who enjoyed Remarkably Bright Creatures, do not hesitate to listen to this.
I was sucked in very quickly. I was sad when it ended because I knew I’d miss the characters when it was all done. The character development is excellent. I would love to listen to it again.
It takes a while to start getting into the story. In the beginning there are too many characters to keep up with and understand where is it going. Can get confusing keeping up with who is who. Once you get passed that, little by little it gets intriguing. It was sweet, a bit sad but..
This was a look at a life (several lives, actually) through letters. I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but the more I read, the more I wanted to read. I cared about each character more with every letter.
like- format of book, development of relationships, humanity of each character dislike- begins a bit slow
