Loved characters and eagerly looked forward to their development. Main character was not “dressed up”. Suspense was added to discover whom she wrote her string of unsent letters.

This book makes me reconnect with my days of letter writing and individual connections from the 1980’s. Readers will love the relationships and kindness towards other generations. Every thing she steels herself to resist becomes something important, which I like.

Had no idea what to expect and just jumped in. Listened and finished it in two days. Brilliant in every way.

Symbols personality and how she stayed in touch with everyone.That Theodore hung in there and became her companion.Did not like her not going to Dan’s funeral.Was happy that she broke off the engagement.

The characters. The letters between all of the characters. The family relationships between mother and daughter. And the found sister.

extremely well written, and engaging story, and superbly performed by a talented cast. a must listen!

This book. Wow finished in one day I just couldn’t put it down. It was beautifully and wonderfully tragic in all the the best ways.
