Excellent narration and mesmerizing plot. I didn’t want it to end. The characters really came to life for me, and touched me in an unexpected way.

Stay with this one. It starts of really slow, but oh my God, the ending is worth the wait!!

I loved her discipline, her curiosity and her constant mention of wonderful books. Her relationships were complex and very real.

What a beautiful story. I just fell in love with all of the characters in this book but especially Cybil–something about her reminded me of my grandmother and I just loved her. The audiobook was perfection, all of the narrators gave an amazing performance. Can’t say enough about this book!

Excellent listen – artful commentary on benefit of hindsight. One needs to take opportunity to address unresolved issues.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this book moved me. The writing was incredible and the performances brought each character alive. My best listen in several years.
