Initially hard to get into b/c of the addresses given at the beginning of each letter. Beautifully written. Would definitely read again.
Performance was beautiful

I read this book for a book club, has zero expectations. This book was a beautiful, deep, incredible story. I will certainly read it again in my life. Absolutely loved it.
You cannot always judge a book by its title. I am a lifelong letter writer, so I was intrigued by the title of the book. However, what lie in store for the reader was a rich, emotional journey that took so many twists and turns. This was unexpected and wonderful journey. Ultimately the lesson it..
Stunning, real, brilliant. Perfection. Best thing I’ve listened to in years. A delightful surprise. Been feeling for a while that I need to get used to mediocrity. It in fact, can be done and real writers do exist.
I loved this book. I am the same age as Sybil and I saw some of myself in her and the woman I would like to be in my final years. The readers were wonderful.
Beautiful to see how she changes over time. she goes from coldness brought on by grief, pain, and guilt, to peaceful warmness and closeness to her friends and family.

Great narrator and main character was relatable and surprisingly humorous despite her pitfalls. Enjoyed every minute.
Strained at first to get involved but, as the conversations continued, deepened and extended I was deeply touched.
I love the different style of writing and getting the story in short verse. Made me laugh. Made me cry. Brilliant.
