Draws you into the world of the wealthy and helps you see two sides of a beautiful island with social life and sea life.
Such a beautiful, emotional and inspiring book. Although it’s hard at the beginning as in any epistolary genre, but as you getting familiar with the characters and can connect them, it’s becoming so enjoyable. I was tearing, which rarely happens, getting to the end as I was so attached to the protagonist. It was incredible..
A story told through correspondence. I would never have thought this would make for an interesting book, but it worked brilliantly. The letter format, and the stories that intertwined throughout were beautiful and touched my heart. I laughed and cried and felt I was a part of Sybil’s world, experiencing her friendships, joys, and sorrows…
A fabulous epistolary novel. Brillant writing and the narration is fabulous. I loved how the letters interconnected. It was easy to fill in the gaps. There are some lovely twists and turns. A must read.
Such a beautiful story told through letters. I’m inspired, no, compelled to begin writing to my son with whom I have a strained relationship. This book was such a delightful listen. The voice actors gave an A+ performance. I wonder if I would get a letter in reply from someone I admire if I had..

At first I thought the letters were a little tedious but by the 3rd chapter, I was fully invested in all the characters. A wonderful story or heartbreak and forgiveness.
Such an amazing book! This audiobook was well narrated and engaging. The story was heartfelt and emotive. I really enjoyed the unique format of the writing. I am very impressed by the depth of the human experience shared within these pages. This book will leave a lasting impression on its audience.
Once I got used to writing style, reading letters, very sweet and it made me cry. Very good book club read.
