I imagine that I will think about this book for a long time to come. Sybil is such a complicated, guarded, and lovable character. Learning about her life through her correspondence, and observing her evolution, was a joy. I loved getting to know all of the characters she wrote to and seeing her heart open..
The format of multiple voices added such life to the story. Fantastic talent!Added unique dimension to the story.

I normally see plot twists coming. I like to think I’m hard to fool but this one got me! voice acting was great not too distracting/theatrical.but I give most of that credit to the writer. I don’t like filler words and descriptions and this book has just enough to get the picture and focuses on..

This is a fantastic book! I enjoyed listening to the different voices reading the letters. I would listen to this book again.
a very good pace with a lot of dialog. realistic storyline older female protagonist building a new chapter in her life. a lot of positive situations without angst
Interesting way to develop a character, a stage of life, a time. Good pictures of the complexity of humans. Thoughtful contemplation of life.

Read it! Well written and a beautiful story. Very unique. The writer tells the story through letters. The character development is deep and engaging.

I enjoyed everything immensely especially the way the story was composed. It would make a wonderful play.
