Loved every moment of this book. What a fascinating way to tell the story of a life— grief, love, forgiveness, family, and self discovery. Just stunning. I’m sad it’s over. I will miss Sybil and her complex, bold voice.

This story really crept into my heart. I found myself so entangled in all her connections. I did not want this book to end.

First and foremost, this is probably one of the best audible productions. I’ve listened to. I love the mini characters and how we got to know them through the correspondence. The story was something in someway I think different audiences with different perspectives can relate to. I highly recommend this book and feel listening to..

I was captivated by the voice, both the narrator’s and that of the story, and then transported by the depths of human suffering and love this tale took. I’m motivated both to write more letters and to read some of the books mentioned here, which delighted me.
