In a literary world full of escapist time travel fantasy it is refreshing to find a main character with relatable flaws and human traits. The narration was excellent. The author/narrator has obviously studied her craft. Perhaps another adventure with Lucy and Cassie will come along?

This was a blast. Petrea sure did her homework. It was awesome to hear what the fictional Camelot was like from the perspective of a woman. The main character and Guinevere’s relationship was done so well. Solid performance, characters, and writing all around.
It’s rare that an author can so elegantly and dramatically read their own book, but Petrea Burchard is clearly both a great writer and voice actress. This book is a fabulous escape read, transporting readers to a very exciting time and place in history. Her characters came to life and connected me to the story..
