I love Carolyn Brown, but I found this story hard to follow, and I did not have any empathy for any of the characters.

This was such a fun book to read. I loved every single one of these crazy characters. I think Agnes was my favorite. There’s so much humor in this book that I would just walk around with my AirPods, and listening to it smiling. Now that I’m done, I’m really going to miss Agnes!

This was a spectacular book. The characters were unique and funny. I love the small town theme.

The book may have been better with a mature woman narrator. Petrea sounded like a teenager attempting to be a mature woman. The story had promise but a fourth of the way through I knew who the murderer was. It was difficult to care about the ending.

I had to back up and listen to several parts of the book. Difficulty keeping everyone straight. The ending was very disappointing!! Way too many characters.

I didn’t care for most of the characters and thought the story itself was difficult to follow.

I usually love Carolyn Brown books. They make me laugh and sometimes cry, but they always entertain. This one did none of that. This one was a fail in my book.

I felt this book was written specifically for me at this exact point in my life. I’ve recently been asking so many questions and this book answered them all. well this hand the same effect on you? I do not know, but this book was certainly a miracle the way it appeared for me just..

This book was very well written and read! Very interesting in a good way. Would recommend.

Narrator is fantastic. Heartbreaking story of a tragedy one family endured. Helpful to see how they healed over time and honored their loved ones. More of a personal story, not a general book on overcoming grief. Still very much enjoyed it though.
