I was smitten with the travel tales and adventures! I especially loved the sweet couple in their camper van, wistful hopes for my own future, and the tale of visiting Chicago. I felt like I was there, traveling with the storyteller and witnessing such revelry!

I listened to “We Few” and “Whispers in the Tall Grass” first. This is not on the same level as those books. This book feels more reserved, like there was a lot of detail left out. I’m sure this is to protect their own hides but makes for a not spectacular book.

Really enjoyed this book. I just got back into audiobooks and this just happened to drop when i did. Really enjoyed it and I’m starting the second book tomorrow!
