I found it blurred the lines between consent and non-consent too much for my taste. Found certain parts disturbing, If you want something based on mutual respect / consent on both sides I would look elsewhere. You can have a good alpha story without blurring the lines so much.
It was all I could do to finish this book. Way too much slow information about all the characters -boring. The reviews that said exciting right from the beginning, I wonder if we listened to the same book. Because I loved all Mr Akarts other series, I’ll try book 2, but I sure hate wasting..

Two thirds into the book and still waiting for something to happen…. the story has included a Hurricane, lobstering in Maine, coast guard rescue of a sailboat, and a lot of wedding planning – no hint of Nuclear war or international tension. Very disappointing.
