Not your typical Biography. Well written well preformed. At times made you feel like you were there.

This book should be recommended for all Americans. We are story of our knowledge of the sacrifices efforts and lies of our honor. I wish is that everyone that reads this review or read this book and other like it.

I have read several bios of fdr. this is the most comprehensive, but it is also exciting story telling 0f course positioned against good history. a good two for one.

This is the second Holt book I’ve not been able to finish. I gave it another shot after getting exceptionally bored with the “Why We Exist” book and giving up. Same with this. The stakes continue to rise, the dead walk, and our antiheroes are on the back foot. Travis continues to to blend together a splendid story!

loved this book, and all the sequels I’ve read so far. Fantastic story, very well thought out and it always keeps you o. the edge of your seat.

Excellent Roman History book from peoples perspective. Humanizes the ancient Roman citizens and tells history from their perspective

The author validated my own approach to my horse and further emboldens me to push back on old-school trainers who discourage my close relationship with my horse. I also understand better the importance of groundwork and negative pressure. I highly recommend the book.

A real American Hero not only for what he did, but how he did it.

This another excellent sci-fi series with a fantastic storyline and sense of being. David Stifel is an excellent narrator. I have listened to the series twice. Definitely worth the cost.
