Great detail on the rise of Yeager. Easy read and hard to put down over a period of exponential change in aviation.
Wow great read

To look back at someone’s actions years later with all the facts, a full stomach, an air conditioned room, no stress, and the knowledge of which “facts” were true or not is not even close to fair, but the amount of information packed into this book is amazing! I am so glad the author gathered..
I appreciate the practical knowledge given on such a complex subject. This book has helped me to better understand concepts that are difficult to grasp.
This was an excellent book-informative, helpful, interesting, comprehensive and filled with passion about horses!
Review from The Death of the Universe: Hard Science Fiction →
Having previously enjoyed Brandon Q. Morris’ Proxima trilogy, which was well-structured and engaging, I had high hopes for The Death of the Universe. Unfortunately, this book fell short in several key areas, making it a frustrating rather than thought-provoking listen. One of the biggest issues is how The Death of the Universe loses all sense..
I love how the story is narrated and how it paints what a small world 20th century aviation really was ! You’ll hear familiar names and be wowed to find how these iconic figures crossed paths and all shared the same passion for flying and love of Country. Chuck Yeager, Bud Anderson , Jimmy Doolittle..
This is a fantastic book that grips the imagination. I have always been fascinated by how humanity would progress over the hundreds of thousands of years in the future. This book provides for my inquisitive mind on the possibilities and I think you would enjoy this read as much as I did!
Didn’t engage me enough to finish the book. Got about half way through but had to give up as the plot was too shallow
I loved the new characters in this third book. Their stories made me cry for their pain and growth and happiness. The jumps to Alex’s view felt slow but I enjoyed seeing the many parts of the world. The turns in the story are getting darker.
I enjoyed learning more about Jason and the world of Awaken Online. I questioned the fullness behind some characters at first but the meaning behind the story telling comes together. The most engaging part for me is how Bagwell builds the fantasy world. It’s the most enthralling, formed storytelling of a game world I’ve read.
