I liked it. but idk the werewolf voice got a bit tiresome. Also. narrator still butchers foreign/import words. Not a big deal but yeah two reasons I gave 4 stars.

the story of a true American hero. wow and wow. the narration was excellent but the story is amazing
Sure it wanders all over the place but it turns out it does actually have more to say than whole collections of other books. this is really about math science and Truth and eventually it also pulls philosophy in at the end. if I had one complaint about it it’s that the very end should..
this is my favorite of the series. the different way the story is told, the characters, the ending. I want more…soon
oh man. the bests book in the series. way to bring everyone together in a crazy way. you had me at the here edge of my seat from the get go. I WANT MORE.
Love the series! Hate the misuse of the color Ivory. Thinking about tan or yellow snow destroys my immersion.
So I enjoyed the ritualist and the land chaos seed and a few others but they fell short for reasons like poor author choices or personal politics. I still enjoy this series has none of it.
As far as LitRPG goes, this is a tolerable story. It’s a bit combat heavy, but the overall story is pretty good, though the characters are somewhat shallow. This is the book that made me come up with the “Rule of Instinctively”. Writers, if you think it’s cool if your characters do everything on reflex..
Travis is a great storyteller, but the last 4 books have shown that he doesn’t put much effort into switching up his descriptors and uses the same phrases hundreds of times, to the point where you can predict what will be said in nearly every sentence. “Met his gaze evenly” “Breaths came in ragged gasps”..
The story following Frank and his journey to grow was incredible and is much more than just a side story. anyone reading this story must go through this book as it is personally my favorite in the series so far.
