I grew up here. I’ve never been able to explain the Delta to someone that hasn’t been there. This book does such a good job of explaining how it got this way.

I believe that this one was a little too slow for my taste. The action was much less than I have come to appreciate. The love story was tedious and seem to get in the way of the flow of the story. I was disappointed for the first time in this author.

This was definitely not what I expected, but it was a unique observation of what it’s like to be “THE IGNORED”.

I wish Little would’ve went more into the origin of the CEO of The Store.

Chuck Yeager was one of a kind. I loved both his humility and confidence. This was one of the most enjoyable books I’ve listened to in years.

Great story with such disparate issues like gays in the military, humanitarian missions, traitors and lessons in leadership. Plus when there’s naval combat, Poyer’s description puts the reader in the middle. Of all the Dan Lenson stories, this is one of the top three.

I love this series and how the avatar stories were stand alone and how nicely they merged. I excitedly await for the next book

The narrator was boring but one got used to it. The storyline was very interesting.
