The story is amazing! Very well written with various plot lines that all come together nicely in the end. Wonderful characters. As far as complaints about the narrator I for one found them unjustified. This narrator has a unique voice with a slight accent, my guess is that’s what folks didn’t like. Not a cookie..

just struggled to hell to finish this one. ive read all his other stuff. his overly snarky daughter is just very annoying, would be weird to have such a daugther father relationship. the ants are where I gave up. jesus christ. can it be made more boring

struggling to keep intrested, can’t return for some reason. the story was not interesting for me.

I really wanted to like this. It belabors the obvious then goes in a random direction without pause or reflection. Then it does the opposite by dragging out other scenes that feel like melodrama and nothing else.

The narration was great. The story tho, the characters going from problem to dumb problem.

Okay…ish… Definitely worth the 2 for 1.The narrator was the worst part of the book. You get used to him, then have to get used to him again. I bought the 2nd book so its worth a listen.

This story is outstanding with amazing twists. Every sentence is well written, and the entire story weaves together well.
