Better than some other books in the genre. Unlike the other Bagwell books, the narrator finally sounds like it could represent the age of the protagonist. I liked the character and the magic. it was entertaining and mostly enjoyable. Things I didn’t like include; Some of the game functions seemed really unlikely…. like people writing..
