I remember when this happened. I live in Mobile not far from where this happened. I believed they were telling the truth but most did not. I think a lot more people believe now that so many are sharing their experience.
Love the 2nd trilogy (so far). I really like that each book stands alone. Sure you should read them in order but it’s not required except for added context. Each story focuses on a different main person.
This is my first Danelle Harmon book. I have not enjoyed a historical book in a long time. I enjoyed the narrator different voice characterizations. And I especially enjoyed the humor. Had me laughing out loud.
Jason’s story is certainly still my favorite but it was a pleasure to have some insight into Eliza’s journey. She’s a favorite now and I can’t wait to see more of her.
This litrpg story would have been better if there were no litrpg mechanics at all. Wich is hilarious. Example : lvling doesn’t matter. A sneak attack allows people to overcome a 100 lvl difference. And of course the mc is the only one actively using this tactic for killing npc’s. Since gamers never would do..
Sorry, forgot to mention the narrator and off-putting, ridiculous accent for pilot and the flat voice for the narrator.
Review from Awaken Online: Apathy (Side Quest) →
It’s a character development story – which is all well and good, but it just seems like the first 75% of the book took a really long time to get its point across. I get what the author was trying to do, and I don’t fault it. Part of the problem is that I’m anxious..
WARNING: DONT BELIEVE ANY RATING HERE OVER 3 STARS! THEY ARE FAUX This is the most gosh awful book I ever tried to listen to. Severely cringe worthy. The series up to this point is bad but still leagues better than this dungheap of a book.
