I loved the whole book, the pacing and the narration was great. I highly recommend giving this series a try, I’m excited for the second book of the series.

This has been the best book I have listened to in a long time. The story in riveting and it sucks you in.

The narrators obviously had fun with this and it shows! While the plot never fully drew me in due to a lack of stakes, the character interactions constantly kept me entertained.

Story has potential except that it gets butchered by the annoying hammer grating on you’re nerves and the constant romance. On top of that the MC is a flip flopper can’t decide if he likes revenge or mercy . It’s like the author wants his character to be everything g to everyone romance action revenge..

Take the delay and reverb out of the hands of the audio engineer. Absolutely too much. Distracting as #*^?.

I loved the character development and the many different voices that were performed by very accomplished orators. the only suggestion I would have is make sure that certain characters aren’t way louder than others (Rock!) for example. way to go guys! that was a fantastic book and I look forward to listening to the next..

Main character is the commonly used one dimensional good guy MC who is only concerned about helping others which gets old really fast. He is also constantly distracted by his “perfect” girlfriend to the point where it interrupts the story constantly because the MC just goes on a rant about how much he loves her..

Great development of the characters we know while being introduced to great new (or potential) baddies. Amazing narration By Annie Elliot and the Soundbooth team brought the story to life in my ears. Can’t wait for the next one!
