A nice overview of using boundaries to keep oneself safe from emotional predators. A bit short. Performance sounded a bit robotic, possibly due to technical issues. Still, good overall.

What a wonderful story originating in Germany before the First World War and ending in 1980. The lives and decisions and conflicts of four generations of women is lovely and at times painful. Lynn Austin has again written a wonderful, deeply moving story

This book is a refreshing change for therapy for couples. I really enjoyed the new approaches that it brought. I plan to use that in my practice.

It’s unfortunate that this good story is almost painful to listen to; the reader sounds like she’s out of breath and chewing gum.

Lived this!! its like a prescription for the survivors of narcissistic abuse. Well- thought out and very clear. Very concise audio book. A must read!!!!

This is a story of four generations. Their ups and downs. It has a nice message which is forgiveness and Gods grace, but it just lacked action and turnarounds. It was just too slow for me. The narrator was excellent, the story just ok.
