Another great installment in one of my favorite series. Nice blend of action and humor in a story I really enjoy. Doesn’t overdue the stats etc and Jeff Hayes and Anne ellicot continue to be fantastic voice actors!
The story just wasn’t good. The world building was lacking, the story and characters were one dimensional, and I found myself regretting the purchase. I had to quit listening which after 800 audiobooks I’ve only done a couple of times.
The writing in this entry is excellent. The addition of small side character arcs really fills in the realities of the war unleashed. And the narration and sound design. Oh my goodness. The narration and sound design are magnificent.
Absolutely without a doubt one of the best series I have read/listened to in my life. Matt Dinniman knows how to pull at all of the emotions all while immersing you in an epic journey and Jeff Hays did wonders speaking those words to life. I CANNOT wait for the next book! Don’t mind me,..
The first 2 books were great. I am having a really hard time staying interested in this book. it seems like a filler book that hasn’t drove the plot forward at all. I’m at chapter 16 and I probably won’t make it to 17.

Tried this book on a whim. So very glad I did! This is now one of my favorites. Great narration. Can’t wait for Sequal.exe to come out on audible.
I’m a gamer, and this story gave me the same satisfaction as playing and beating a game. it’s got a great setup, and power escalation. the protagonist goes through some nice challenges that are framed via game parlance, while giving an emotional payoff. If you like books and video games, give this one a shot.
ive been waiting for this for years now im so happy it happened and spoilers that is going to be a book 6 we cant wait

Loved the book. Hated Heather. Everything else was very refreshing and not the cliched story line.
Took a long time to get but i think it’s a masterpiece. Overall action packed. Good details and the soundtrack to go with made the telling top notch. Very impressed with this book.
