The story was really interesting and the characters are all well designed. The narrators really out did themselves in bringing the story to life, which is why I think I enjoyed it so much more. This is now one of my favorite active series. I can’t wait for book #2.

I came into this book WANTING to hate it, but I couldn’t. It’s surprisingly nuanced and funny. It’s assuredly absurd but vastly entertaining.

makes me want to homebrew a cake devouring mimic. just seeing the faces of people coming to a baking village to find cake crumbs strewn about the streets as they try in vain to find what ate all the sweets

The story of this series was promising and then fell into the same tired ideas, too much profanity, and using undead as antagonists. It ended up just being disappointing.

Do not skip this series. As an avid book reader, this has become my all time favorite series. Whether you love feet or not, you’ll love this series.
