I really love the series, but I thought the story in this one was just lacking, disjointed and didn’t flow the way the other books did. I actually got bored listening on this one. The universe woven by Matt Dinniman in this series so far has been one of the best new IP’s I feel I have come across in the Sci Fi, Fantasy space. It easily exists outside of the LitRPG genre as it brings any reader into the rules of a new universe through the heroes journey…
So good. Just keeps getting better honestly. Can’t wait to listen to book four. You won’t regret it!

How in the world does each of these novels keep ratcheting up the intensity, humor, emotions, AND multi-world political intrigue WITHOUT constantly recycling traditional tropes?! I got a good chuckle and decent entertainment out of the first couple of books, but then . . . holy feces! This runaway train just keeps delivering!!! Can’t wait..

Some of the sexual content was shock factor, but the story is good if you can ignore the few parts.
I love this so much it’s disgusting I MEAN REALLY CARL THAT WAS JUST RIDICULOUS!
