Horrible narration pauses

I wanted to like this so much. The narrator…takes these…unbearable pauses…in between….every few words…and I just could…not listen anymore. I kept putting it down and then a few days later “okay I’ll try again” and couldn’t listen more than 8 minutes or so without wanting to claw my skin off.
