I absolutely love this book. This is one of the best series I have listened to.

I relisten to the series everytime a new book comes out. The blend of Sword and Sorcery with an undertone of high sci-fi is perfectly entertaining.

Such a great series so far. Surprised by the character depth and growth. Can’t wait to start boook 3.

All of these books are awesome! I loved this one too. I think I’m going to listen to them all again.

I really liked where this book was going until the non-litrpg direction in the last chapter and epilogue. The political thriller-ish direction felt out of place for a sword and scorcery-type litrpg.

Listening again after being a fan for years. This book was my introduction into the Darren/arand universe and I’m glad for it. Don’t get me wrong, the word cultivation is mentioned every other line but it’s almost like no one, not even the characters, know what it takes to progress or what the progression/cultivation system is.
