I loved the story, but it felt exhausting finishing the book. Jeff Hays is still a god with his limitless character voices
Still very good

Just when you thought the story would get stale, it gets even better! Jeff Hays is wonderful and Matt Dinniman writes his best work here.
Mongo for VP. Carl for Chief of Staff. Mordecai for Secretary of State. I need to learn more about Catia before assigning her a political appointment.
at most this was a decent background listen. but when actually listening it’s just a non stop barrage of exposition and item descriptions.
I don’t even know what litrpg is, but I still ended up enjoying this listen. The narrator is hilarious, and the story is propulsive. Not gonna recommend it to my high brow book group but it definitely ranks as a guilty pleasure.
Great story. Very entertaining with clever humor and I found myself finding opportunities to listen to this book.
Production keeps improving and the story continues to get deeper. The characters depth isn’t just skin deep and create a great story. The author has also done a great job of throwing surprises throughout as well. I can tell why this book has become soo popular.
I am enjoying more of Carl’s and Donut’s banter together as well as the character growth. definitely continuing the series
