The story was engaging and imaginative. Not a typical story. Rather bizarre actually! I enjoyed the character development, I could imagine Carl as a real person.

This audio book is EXCELLENT!! I couldn’t stop listening, the narrator does an amazing job. I laughed so hard. You have to listen to this audiobook

Dungeon crawls can be boring, but not this one! It’s a little more on the gory side than I would prefer, but there are many layers of comedy, twists, intergalactic politics, and character growth to keep me coming back for more. I look forward to continuing this series.

Hands down the best performance in an audiobook I’ve ever heard. Plus, the story is so engaging, I couldn’t put it down. I’ve read the physical book once and listened to the audiobook twice now. Can’t get enough!

I thought I had read the previous book recently enough to dive right into this one, but I was definitely lost with a lot of the references about the previous floors. By the end it became more focused on the present and was very enjoyable.
