I feel like idea behind this was excellent. The plot was interesting and somewhat original. Unfortunately the writing was…something. Practically extinct, the art of letter writing is beautifully revived in “The Correspondent.” Each character in the novel is fully developed through letters. Wonderful narration. It is funny, sad and ultimately so hopeful. It’s never too late to make amends, see the world, and live fully.
