Unexpectedly delightful read about the life of an extraordinary, real woman. Definitely add to TBR.

Every once in a great while, a book comes along that makes you pause, reflect deeply, and unravel parts of yourself you didn’t even realize needed attention. This one did exactly that for me. The timing and essence of this story feel especially powerful—whether you’re stepping into a new year seeking renewal or navigating personal..
The book kept me interested but felt rushed at the end. It probably could have used a couple of more chapters before the last big scene. The descriptions were great though. I almost felt like I was at a little hotel on a beach.
While it takes a while to warm up to the main character, once you understand her a bit more, you cannot stop listening. I strongly recommend this book.
A committed communicator is one who dares reach out. I found myself, knowing this woman, despising her at a couple of spots., And understanding her at others. Her character flies are my own, and because of that, I can claim some of her attributes as well.. Civil Vanantwerp is a character who holds the mirror..
I cannot even put into words how perfect, wonderful this book was…so relatable, so mirror-like to my life…I feel so much. It is by far the most amazing book I’ve been lucky to come across.
I stopped and started this a couple times before I listened all the way through. But I didn’t want to stop once I got going. I really related with Sybil. I also face some of the same challenges that she did. This almost had me in tears over her relationship with her daughter. I don’t..
What a great story… I totally recommend! The performance is outstanding. At first, the way the novel is structured seemed a bit choppy but once I got use to it I could not stop listening. Definitely a tearjerker in specific parts, but not all stories are sunshine and rainbows. Again, totally recommend.
A great story told by great readers who embodied the characters perfectly. What lack of interest I had in Sybil was very much taken over by all The other characters.
