I was turned off by the self importance of the main character. Yet I very much enjoyed the storyline of the other characters. They were all very accepting of the Sybil and loving of her.

I would go on to say that listening to the audiobook made the book much more interesting. I had to read without audible for a few chapters and it wasn’t the same!!! Amazing narration… Bravo!!!

Superb story, characters and approach. I wasn’t sure I would like the approach at first. I thought it would be flat. It was nothing of the sort. The characters were rich. The journey colorful and well rounded. The narrators were well chosen and exquisite. I highly recommend.

Cannot write enough praise for this book. It will remain in my heart perhaps til the day I die. So well written, such amazing character development, and a format unique and fitting to the story and main character. The performance added so much to the story. The story is told through letters to and from the main character creating various threads about her relationships, past events, current and past feelings, that all come together to form a beautiful rendering of a complex character who is/has been both good and bad, and fully human.

Very disappointed- boring me to tears. I could not keep focused. Not sure what all the good reviews were for but surely not this book.

I am sure this would have been a fabulous book to read in print, but the audiobook was magnificent. It felt like a stage play and I wanted to stand up clapping in appreciation as the performers took a bow. The audience would have been on their feet roaring their approval . What a gorgeous..
