not sure if I’ll be getting the next one. I found myself skipping 30 sec ahead over and over again just to get to the next chapter. might be time to give up on this getting better

As with all of the works in this series, I find myself utterly enchanted and drawn in as the world, the characters, and so much more are steadily revealed, and in a manner that makes me internally scream for more. I can hardly wait to get my mitts on the next in this series!

Excellent continuation and merger of the parallel pre-stories of Jason and Finn. It definitely was with a twisted start, that had me headscratching 😉

This book is a thoughtful answer to a simple question: what if the Deus Ex Machina storytelling fallacy could be explained by more than a “karmic luck” stat? The result is well-paced, interesting, and sometimes even laugh-out-loud funny. (Don’t skip it.)

Long, rambling intro with constant reference to upcoming material. Footnotes with abbreviations were not self explanatory and destroyed my focus. The narrator is somnalent. 4 hours in I gave up. There are some good things on Audible +, but for me this was an Audible-.

Finn is a great character. If u like Jason you will love Finn Kyle and julia

This story keeps you in suspense for what will happen next. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book and recommend it to all.
